“ One of the best if not the best boba spot in Chicago. Beats all the chains in the area. I am all the way in Uptown and drive 45 min each way to come here couple times a week. Tea is very flavor full, boba is just right. Very friendly staff thats always accommodating. 11/10 and would recommend. Stop by before or after shopping for groceries/eating. ”

“ My go-to boba spot in Chicago. They have relatively low prices and quick service. My favorite drinks to get are their mango green tea with boba and lychee jelly or jasmine milk tea with boba. They genuinely have some of the best boba I’ve ever tasted. ”

“ This place is pretty, warm, has inside seating, is inside the mall in 88 market. It’s decorated nicely. The teas are well priced in that they are not overpriced. They make the teas fresh. It’s a $0.65 cent up charge for bubbles. So it’s very reasonable. Enjoyed the tea here and will return. Clean, pretty, nice freshly brewed tea and charge of bubbles or crystals are slightly cheaper than other places … tasted good.. can ask for less sugar .., nice seating even if it’s small … inside 88 market so nice to shop after or before tea. Inside is a nice ambience. It was also warm w heat blasting bc it’s still cold outside in Chicago like 35 degrees F. So it was cozy. Recommend Pure Tea. ”

“ the best purple yam drink i’ve had in chicago! it’s a big portion for the price and quality, and they use fresh yam so it’s really yummy and floral, and naturally sweetened, so not overpowering. they are also one of the only shops i have seen that offer sago as a topping, so i was so happy to stumble upon them after shopping upstairs at 88 marketplace! the taro drink, however, isn’t as tasty as the purple yam milk in my opinion. i’ve only had it once and it had a sour, salty off flavor if that makes any sense, so i steer clear from the taro specifically. otherwise, awesome little tea shop! ”

“ The atmosphere of Pure Tea is very relaxing and comfortable, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a hot cup of tea. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they are always willing to help you select the perfect tea for your taste. As for the teas themselves, I tried a few different varieties and was impressed with the quality of each one. While I found the lychee tea to be just okay, I still enjoyed it and appreciated the unique flavor it offered. What really stood out to me, however, was the wide selection of other teas available. From classic black teas to unique herbal blends, there was something for everyone at Pure Tea. I also appreciated the fact that they offer both hot and iced tea options, which is perfect for those hot summer days. Overall, I would definitely recommend Pure Tea to anyone looking for a great tea experience in Chicago. ”

“ Pretty good, it is more adapted to an Americanized taste than the traditional Chinese milk tea, but it’s good in its own right. It’s missing that restrictive taste you’d expect from a traditional milk tea. I’d probably come back here as it’s the best offering in this specific store, but there are better ones in Chinatown proper. ”
